Going to need to rename this category from “weekly wrap-ups” to “Ryan gets around to blogging about his work”… Anyways, this time around I have a new web project and three special podcast episodes to highlight. Enough excuses and teasing, let’s get to the links!
Posted this a few weeks back, but I think it’s worth a reminder. Joel Duggan and I recently launched a re-design for Tom Bancroft’s webcomic Outnumbered. Tom was looking for a cleaner design that put focus on the webcomic. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think! Hoping to post more web projects in the near future, so stay tuned for more of those. If you’re interested in getting a visual upgrade or brand new website be sure to drop me a line.
Over the last month due to Nerdtacular and social commitments Jocelyn has been away from the Inn. During her absence I hosted a call-in special on The Gamers’ Inn and Skype hiccups aside I believe it was a success! The community came out and discussed what games they’re playing and what they’re excited for. At the end of the show Joce was even able to call in to chat a bit of Hearthstone with a fan! We’re definitely planning to do more of these, so give it a listen and share your thoughts!
Over the summer Paul and I have been welcoming guests on to Sleeping With The Elephant to share in the confusion that is some of the weirdest news stories coming out of North America. A few weeks back we were lucky enough to welcome Tom Merritt of DTNS and Cordkillers fame to chat about Comcast, US Netflix and… Dudley Do-Right? Big thanks to Tom for coming on the show and being an awesome guest.
On July 19th Ashley and I invited a bunch of wonderful people to Belleville (my original stomping ground) to celebrate our wedding early. The Jack N Jill was a huge success and we had so much fun visiting with family and friends. On So I’m Marrying A Podcaster we recently recapped our adventure with the help of Ashley’s mother Anne Marie and little sister Katie. Big thanks to the wedding party, our parents, family and friends, and the awesome staff at the hall for making this event a success. See you in September!
